Los Penasquitos Canyon

On our last adventure day mom and I hiked to the waterfall in Los Penasquitos Canyon.

It was just a little waterfall. 
The sign said to watch out for mountain lions and rattles snakes.

We had to cross the river 2 times. 

We saw other hikers, runners, bike riders,

and horses.






Mom and I hiked 7 miles in all. I ran part of the way. 


In the trees we saw big  bunches of mistletoe.

Penasquitos are green rocks.
